Tenant Information Guide

A clear starting point can help when you are looking for a rental, settling into a home or planning the next step in a tenancy. Request the Ray White Tenant Information Guide and read it alongside our local Tenant Information page and current Tenancy Services guidance.

What to prepare

Compare current listings and viewing arrangements before applying. Check rent, included features, access, parking and the responsibilities relevant to the particular home. Use the official application process and ask the manager about information you do not understand.

At move-in, read the agreement and condition report, record existing damage and clarify keys, utilities and repairs. Keep your own copies of important tenancy records. During a tenancy, report maintenance promptly and use the correct written process for matters such as a pet request, a change to the home or notice to leave.

Request a copy

Name the Tenant Information Guide and provide the contact details you want used for the reply. You can include a question about the part of the tenancy journey you are planning. A team member supplies the latest available copy; this is a manual request, with no automatic download or response time promised.

For repairs, use Repairs and Maintenance rather than a guide request. If there is an immediate emergency, call 111 and notify the manager when it is safe. For a question about a home managed by Ray White Kaitaia, contact your manager or call 09 408 2900.

The guide supports a conversation; it does not replace the agreement, current law or advice about a dispute.
