The Role

As a Sales Agent you will be taught the art of real estate sales by one of our highly experienced sales professionals. You will receive mentorship and support throughout a structured and graduated entrance into your role.

Your day-to-day activities will initially include:

  • Gathering market intelligence
  • Database management
  • Prospecting
  • Conducting home appraisals
  • Conducting listing presentations and listing properties for sale
  • Conducting open homes
  • General administration

As you develop and display increasing competence in these areas your responsibilities will evolve, resulting in you becoming a fully-fledged Salesperson. You may well become the Salesperson who mentors a new-starter!

To succeed in this role, you’ll be the type of person that:

  • Is driven by building relationships and creating networks;
  • Enjoys working with others and relishes the opportunity to be a team player operating within a great team culture;
  • Can focus on several sales objectives at a time;
  • Can use a direct approach to selling but can also appreciate the more subtle aspects of sales negotiation;
  • Prefers accomplishing your work without the red-tape of specific sales procedures. You’re creative;
  • Consistently responds to client’s needs in a timely fashion and make quick decisions under pressure;
  • Relishes the opportunity to be trained by the best;
  • Enjoys working in a fast tempo, fast growing business;
  • Is motivated by the opportunity to present your ideas and suggestions;
  • Responds well to demands on your time and generally work at a brisk pace;
  • Is effective without direct management, yet welcome structure and supervision as needed; and
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude.
